Rick, thanks for posting that. I recognize the site from a previous reference of yours, and I have to say that my delving into the site at that time led me to do something I have long regretted! Even today on the page you linked is an execution of Capos. Don't let this suck you in. YOU DO NOT WANT TO KNOW WHAT IS ON THAT VIDEO. Yes I am yelling. I watched it months ago. You know me, I do a lot of serious men's work, some stupid morbid fascination wanted to know how men behaved in the instants before their deaths.

When, just now, the face in the thumbnail for that clip came by surprise before me, the hair rose on my arms, and I had a feeling of terror. I have WORKED to get the images out of my mind.

Thank you for making me more aware of what is going on. Although I'm intellectually amazed at how these men's minds protected them from the horror, I'm not sure the price of knowing was worth it. (and yes I know you aren't responsible for the sidebars on that site!!!)

It is very interesting that when I was drowning in white water, at a very specific point all the pain and fear went away and I remember specifically saying to myself, "Well, I'll be damned, I never thought I was going to drown?"

These guys might have been passively thinking, "Hmmmm, I never thought CHAINSAW."

a heads-up on the scattered body parts photo, def. not for everyone. The Zetas took the role of policing car thefts. That's the governments job, but Mexico doesn't have capital punishment.

Yeah, would appear a "joy ride" wouldn't be a good idea SOB...

It is difficult to get the straight scoop on what is going on. I think that this site is about as good as it gets in providing an overview of what is happening and where it is happening. This is what Sociopathy and Psychopathology look like up close and personal. It is a close up look at a segment of society that is engaged in Crimes Against Humanity.

When people have lost their conscience, or never had one, then other people are simply objects of pleasure or pain and one treats them like one would any other commodity, use it till it no longer is useful or provides pleasure and discard "it" like garbage.

These are Crimes Against Humanity in that they generate fear and limit the freedom of people who do still have their humanity. These people lack the basic human characteristic of empathy, compassion and regard for the needs of their fellow man. Before I worked in the Criminal Justice Field I opposed Capital Punishment, till I met some of these people and discovered that we are not all born equal with the same capacity for attachment, shame and empathy. A guy like Charles Manson is IMPOSSIBLE to rehabilitate. If it were possible to rehabilitate Charles Manson he would need to develop a conscience and then his appropriate emotion would be guilt of such a magnitude that he would need to kill himself in order to end his own pain. There is a place for Capital Punishment for Kidnapping and Murder of the sort we see displayed on this site.

I am sorry for the pain that you may have experienced by reading this site and seeing the graphic images on it. I don't view the images myself, I have seen enough and experienced enough of this in my own life to well understand how this could impact someone. I was not thinking of that when I posted the link. Had I been thinking about that I would have posted a warning about the graphic images on the site.

Having said that I think that it is appropriate that we feel disgust, disbelief and anger at the people who can do these sorts of things and that one can process thru these emotions and think clearly how we can protect ourselves against this sort of maddness and mayhem. It is important that we are aware of our surroundings and the people who are in it. Get to know those feelings of discomfort and ACT ON THEM. Don't be a victim. Denial is dangerous as when we are in denial we ignore the very feelings and perceptions we need to protect ourselves from people like this. I think it is important to know what is really going on to see the insanity of the ballads, videos etc that glorify this life.

I once spent some time with Helen Caldecot, M.D., Physicians for Social Responsibility. She papered over an entire stage in an auditorium with the old computer graph paper with the holes on the side. She had the entire banner filled with magic marker lines representing the USofA supply of nuclear weapons, the thick lines were MIRV missles, multiple warheads. The sheer number of them, thousands, was stunning to see, I was literally stunned at the magnitude of what I was seeing. I felt a profound sense of sadness, depression and hopelessness. Then came the anger! She said that it is normal in the face of such madness to feel depressed, it's normal, however once one is through with that then an appropriate sense of outrage and anger will emerge. This is my hope for the Mexican people is that one day they will stand and say Basta Yo! Enough! This must stop!

I don't know if the people of Mexico will be able to mobilize against these Crimes Against Humanity, history is rife with examples of how Might Makes Right, but one can hope. I hope!
