Plywood Project a "SUCCESS" Thank You!

cjesme - 1-21-2012 at 09:01 AM

We need to purchase 24, 3/4inch, 4x8 sheets of finished plywood for a ceiling, to finish off the new cafeteria, they just had built. They cost approximately $26 per sheet and must be bought down here. The border will not allow us to bring it into Baja. Hopefully we can get this done in the next 2 weeks, before our heavy rain! We also need a large box of #8 penny nails. Can you please help us? Once I know I have donations coming in I will charge the plywood to get it asap. The kids really appreciate what we do for them!
Please see pictures on La Mision Equestrian Face book page!!

Thank You!!
Any amount you can afford will help!

cjesme - 1-22-2012 at 06:39 PM

Is it that much cheaper???

aguachico - 1-23-2012 at 10:11 AM

post your paypal info.

I thought wood was more expensive in the Mex Home Depot. What amount can be driven across duty free?

cjesme - 1-23-2012 at 10:28 AM

Hi,
I tried bringing treated wood posts for a fense and I was turned back. They would not allow me to bring it in. I know wood is more expensive down here but going through that process was a pain in the neck.
My Pay Pal is :cjesme@yahoo.com
I just opened this account and I am still trying to figure out how to use it. I can't seem to find the account number. By the way it looks to me it goes by your email address. I hope I am right. If not please let me know.
Thanks for contacting me

Carla,

your paypal "account number" is your email address.
Go the www.paypal.com, and enter your email address plus your password.

You should already have some funds in there:yes:

Instead of begging for help what Mexico needs a changed of government, there is plenty of money it's just controled by a few. If the Middle Eastern countries can change their governments why not Mexico?

Hope & Change for the kids? Do not turn this into politics

(Reuters) - Six Americans working for publicly funded U.S. organizations promoting democracy in Egypt have been barred from leaving the country, provoking angry demands in Washington that Cairo's new military rulers stop "endangering American lives".

Let's beg here too: Let my people go!

cjesme - 1-26-2012 at 09:36 PM

I agree but in the mean time these poor kids pay the price!! How about no heat in the winter and electricity cut off because of lack of funds. I personally feel the need to help. Until the Gov. changes, there are quite a few of us who can help!

cjesme - 1-27-2012 at 08:51 AM

Thank You Fernweh!!!!
Because this is definitely not a political post!!!

805gregg - 1-27-2012 at 07:42 PM

Hey it's only going to get worse, if you don't have the funds or expertise to finish a project you start, don't start.

What a buzz kill you are................These people are doing good work that the best of governments can't cover totally.

cjesme - 1-28-2012 at 09:08 AM

Hi 805 gregg,
Just to let you know in the past year we have done many projects for the Buena Vida Orphanage and EVERY PROJECT was completed!!! Successfully and expertly!! About 6 kind NOMADS donated enough money to complete these projects. If you had a more positive attitude like me then you know what ever you start you finish!! I would call that expertise!
Thank You again Nomads for helping. I and all the people trying to upgrade this orphanage appreciate everything you have done to help us!! Again, all the pictures can be emailed to you or be seen on facebook"La Mision Equestrians"

cjesme - 2-7-2012 at 07:26 PM

THANK YOU NOMADS! the cafeteria project that Buena Vida needed has been completed! We received enough plywood to finish the roof!
This is the third project we have finished for the kids!

Thank You so VERY MUCH!

bajamedic - 2-8-2012 at 02:43 PM
