Plan on visiting Organ Pipes National Monument. Thinking about walking across and taking care of my tourist card business at Sonoita. Anybody done
this? parking? bank? etc.

where you get an FMM at the Sonita border crossing is about 12 miles down highway 2 eastbound for Santa Anna..........

Been through many times. Tourist card is issued AT the border office. You can walk or just drive a few yards past customs and there is parking in the
center of the street. Fees paid and card issued at the same office. Have the exact amount ready. No need for a walk to the bank. Very easy and fast.
The vehicle permit office is 16 miles down to road.
I will be driving through there this coming Monday heading for Mazatlan then the ferry to La Paz.
