Is there a website that post fish reports for S Q?

When do the white seabass typically start biting there?

mexfish.com used to post weekly reports but stopped a couple of years ago. Thankfully they have maintained their archives so you can at least get a feel for when the WSB have shown up in the reports for previous years.

bajabird,

Last week I ate a delicious WSB fillet at the Molino Viejo restaurant in SQ. I'd say someone is catching them.

you start to hear about sport caught wsb as early as may. if i were to plan my vacation, i would do it mid august to mid september. also tuna, and paddy fishing offshore if you want. anytime then, and during a new moon...a few days after. 2011, and 2010 wasn't all that great, but i'm using 2009 as a great season.

my friend fernando caught 2 in his net early this month, 35, and 40 lbs....lot's bait in the socorro area. don't forget to bring krocks. technique to use, slow troll a live mack. with a 2nd rod on a krock. when i say slow troll, i mean slow...to me it's motor mooching. if you get lucky, drift, and cast using krocks.
