I think this film has been posted on Nomad before, Ken, but it's always fun to watch it again.
The sizes of the abalones sure bring back good memories. I thought it interesting that the travelogue didn't venture up the Sea of Cortez side.
Afterall, La Paz existed. So did Sta. Rosalia and other.

P.S. I meant to mention that at ~2 min. into the film there're some scenes of the Ensenada Harbor and the boat riding at anchor in the foreground is
similar to the "Ranger", now owned by the Santa Barbara Maritime Museum. In its glory days it worked out of the Catalina Island Tuna Club and spent
many hours off Ensenada.
If you're in the Sta. Barbara area, paying a visit to the museum is well-worth the price of admission, plus you can get a close-up view of the Ranger.
