I want to do the coastal road from Asuncion south. I'm currently in GN and there's lots of mud and big puddles everywhere so wondering if I should
try this in a coupe weeks on my way back?

the road wont be too bad...definately passable...but it would be a less eventful ride after it dries out for a couple weeks...IMHO

I would be very careful of the salt flat areas. They will definitely be wet and may not be passable. There are a number of them on the road south.

We just arrived in La Bocana, and the road from Abreojos here was fine. No mud. The road from San Ignacio to the lagoon was muddy this morning on the
way out, and dry on the way back. The morning's sun and wind pretty much dried off the night's rain.
