Around La Bufadora April 2011

LisaR. - 2-9-2012 at 07:09 PM

So, I stuck my camera’s SD card in the computer today, and realized that I had a few pictures from La Bufadora and the coast near it from last April. I don’t have enough pictures to fill out a trip report, but it was a beautiful afternoon, and I thought I’d share:

Cool. Thanks for the photos! The one of the rocky shoreline looks like the central coast.

Thanks..Somewhere I have some pic,s of the seashell shop with a whale skeleton on the roof of the shop..I think of Chewy at the bar/ resturant at the top..
That kind of atmosphere is hard to find...You never can tell what you,re going to see on that street...

I really enjoyed this photo tour! Have not been down to the blowhole in about five or six years and every time we go it's a little different and always fun!

Thank You!

Thanks for the nice comments! It's funny, I've been coming down to the Rosarito/Ensenada area since I was in high school (and I don't even want to say how many years ago that was!), and this was the first time I'd ever been to La Bufadora. It was a very cool drive, and yeah, bbbob, that is one interesting street!

hey dennis, in 1972 a buddy and i spent the year camping in a driftwood shelter out on the sand spit at punta banda....one of my life's sweetest memories, to say the least...is that still possible or is it all grown up with gringos???...just curious.

I'd say those days are gone, Mike. There have been a lot of changes out there...not many for the best.
Hang on to your memories. They can't take that from you.
