Let's just say the radio was blasting, my wife was hanging out the back window taking pictures, and my son was riding shotgun, while I was taking pictures of my wife.

65 mph on the sand...............so smooth except the crabs we could see running out of the way.

Me now realizing i just drove my truck thru the ocean (river was incoming tide - was not flowing out) like a total dumb ass.......

We also found a skull. I asked the water delivery dude in San Juanico what the skull was and he said "Lobo". I thought, "Wow, I got some type of desert baja wolf skull!!!!!!" only to realize he was saying sea lion skull. I'm an idiot sometimes.................good trip and more to come...................

Actually this pic is about 15 miles north of San Juanico (North of Ballena junction)....and my buddy parked at the river edge to guage the river crossing only to bury his front tire up to the axle in quicksand....took 1/2 hour of panic to get him out of that....I was sure his bike was going to be a beach ornament forever....here are the before pictures approaching that river crossing:

Thanks man, I have scared myself on all those roads around the bay! It was close enough to "home" to turn it loose a little bit.

I have a good friend moto/skier buddy who swears that that 18 km into San Nicolas' is the best piece of groomed trail he ever saw for letting a 650 dual sport go!

Today, "hero snow", ego snow, took my carvers, had BIG fun and was home with 8-10,000 feet before 1:00.

Those guys did good work, but they (nor I ) was a match for Julio.

Any one of those pictures would do for me right now!!
