Baño in Bahia Tortugas

Look behind the cars...the outhouse is up a second story and you are handed a one gallon jug (milk jug) with which to flush

In San Roque

In Bahia Asunción

Also in BA

I don't have to tell you where this one is

Udo - 2-13-2012 at 06:21 PM

Inside

Outside

These were pretty nice! Somewhere in Conception bay...

EnsenadaDr - 2-13-2012 at 07:18 PM

Mexitron - 2-13-2012 at 08:27 PM

We built this one for our group---open air!

When we left we just torched it and buried it all:

This is my favorite. Why close in the walls when in the middle of nowhere? Keep the wind blowing all odors away.

Papas Gonzaga camp KNEE KNOCKER

The first time I used one of Papa's knee knockers there was a black widow spider in the middle of a web right under the rim.

The worst has to be at Don Chon's Camp in San Ignacio though.

bajadock - 2-14-2012 at 08:19 AM

For the BEST category, the rest stop on Hwy1 at KM35, just north of the Rosarito toll booth, is stunning. Marble tile floor to ceiling, marble tiled stalls and granite sinks. Wow, where did that money come from???

Did not have my camera with me yesterday.

That stop is usually where the coffee asks for release at the 90 minute mark of my drive north to San Diego. Yes, I'm a Free Road to Aeropuerto guy to access Otay crossing vs. Blvd 2000.

Outhouses at "Campo Don Alvaro", La Chorera San Quintin

sanquintinsince73 - 2-14-2012 at 09:38 AM

[img][/img]What makes these outhoses so special is that they were constructed on the edge of a cliff overlooking the ocean. As you sit down for your "morning glory" you have a very cool ocean breeze on your backside.

Where?

bajajudy - 2-14-2012 at 10:58 AM

Just availed myself of this facility on our last two days of camping

The Gent's Room, Bar Miramar

Udo - 9-24-2014 at 05:39 PM

That's what we did in Nam. After the 55 gallon drums (filled with diesel fuel) and got full to a point, we set them on fire until all the "stuff" was gone.

No photo to save the memories, but my nose will never forget the bano at the end of the marina in Cabo behind the fish station.
Gone now.

best bano

captkw - 9-24-2014 at 07:43 PM

up above cabo the fredestairo or something like that ...biu;t into the side of the cliff...CooL !!!

Alm - 9-24-2014 at 07:46 PM

The worst outhouse is Baja itself. Most of it. I mean, where there is no outhouse, - which is pretty much most of Baja. Especially since they started using toilet paper 5-6 years ago. Thorny shrubs, cacti and mesquit trees are all covered like some Christmas tree. I wonder how long it will take them to realize that paper in dry environment can remain intact for YEARS.

OMG !!
