While we tend to concentrate on "Love" north of the border, in Mexico February 14th is "Day of Love and Friendship."
So not only do couples have something to celebrate, but good friends (especially women) will also often "gift" eachother something today. If you've
been wandering about town in Mexico and wondering why so much emphasis on Valentine's stuff for sale, that is the reason. Better for the economy, too.
