My family and I left San Diego thursday at 6pm.
The Adventure begins.
30 mins at the border and we were off.
Dinner at El Trailero in Ensenada.
Arrived at Hotel Santa Maria SQ at 11pm. Got a room with great beds and left the slidding glass door open to hear the waves.
Friday.
Free breakfast at the hotel and we were on the rd.
Stopped in Catavina to see the rock art, made a early lunch and let the kids play.
Next stop turnoff to LA bay. Fuel. And set off towards LAbay.
Found the turnoff to Mission San Borja. The rd started out good and quickly went away. Only one really bad hill took 3 tries but we made it. 1 hr and
30min later we stepped back in time and enjoyed the sites at the mission. We spen about hr1, I would have loved to see the spring and hike but it was
getting dark and I had no idea how the rd to Nuevo rosarito was. Its bad very bad and 2 hrs later we were on the highway headed south.
10pm on a friday there was no imigration.
Stayed the night at Caracoles.
Saturday.
Woke up at 6am to go on the Whale Tour!
Simply amazing!!
Had lunch at the new Whale tour building.
Then set off on a 3 hr tour of the salt works
Dinner at Malarimo awesome!
Sunday
Headed north to Cocos corner. Spent some time there. Delivered a battery and a box of goodies my wife and kids got for him!
Next stop a surprise stop at Alfonsinas best shrimp tacos ever!ever!
Back in the bus and headed north.
stopped to help a older couple with there supperduty I suspect water in the fuel got them running somewhat.
Arived in San Felipe around 4pm. When we got to our home at El Dorado I ordered up some sand rail pizza.
Monday
spent the day at the pool in El Dorado ranch and did some work on the home.
Tues
6 hrs and we were home in SD

Photobucket.com is FREE...
The sizing is done when you upload photos TO Photobucket from your PC. So, if you didn't do that already... and they are at the full size setting,
they will stretch the Nomad pages wide (on normal monitors).
How to resize them with Photobucket, on your album page:
1) Click the red button 'UPLOAD' at the top of the Photobucket page.
2) At the bottom of the Upload box that appears, see (in small blue text): 'Customize your upload options', and click that.
3) Choose a reduced size. 640x480 is nice for most photos. I usually only go to the 800x600 size for maps for max. detail on Nomad.
4) At the bottom, click 'SAVE'! Thats it!!!
Now, until you change that setting, all photos will be uploaded to Photobucket at whatever reduced size you picked!
To post your photos on Nomad, use your mouse and copy the link called 'IMG Code', below the photo you want to show... and paste it onto Nomad where
you type in your text... You can post several photos at a time, but I suggest not more than a dozen, and double space between each phot link.
Specially if you add some captions under each photo.
YES!!!!

Okay, nice photo at Gonzaga... When you do figure out the photobucket method most of us use, you can post several photos instead of just one when it
is hosted on Baja Nomad as the one above is. I will help, send me a u2u if you need to.Sprocket - 2-24-2012 at 09:29 PM
