Hi. I'm heading to BoLA in a couple of weeks. I haven't been there for 10 years. What is the availability of groceries, especially fresh produce? If
there's nothing in BoLA, where might be a good place on the way to get fruit and veggies? Thanks.

Bahia has changed since you were there last. Fresh fruit and veggies are available at a few places now.
David runs the co-op which is on your left as you're coming into town, just after the second Pemex station and before the traffic circle, (which
wasn't there 10 years ago).
Casa Diaz has limited produce in their fridge, canned goods, potatoes and onions on the dry shelf.
Xitlali Market is on the right hand corner after you make the turn at the end of the road out of town. Martha stocks her shelves from Costco and has a
decent selection of fruits and veggies.
There are others, but those are the three that we frequent.
Have a good trip.

It would be a good idea to bring whatever you can. How long will you be there? If it were me, I would stop along the way in Ensenada, San Quintin,
or El Rosario. Ensenada would be a first choice provided that you have a fridge/freezer in your vehicle.

Ditto what Ken said, I live here, and as others have said there is stuff available here now more than 10 years ago, but if it was me I would stop in
Ensenada at the Walmart and get what ever I needed for my stay. If you forget something then look for it here in Bahia. Sometimes the produce here is
not as fresh as what you can get in the bigger cities.
