Today is a once in a four year occurance. February 29 is Leap Day. If I remember correctly, nomad Bajaboy's birthday is today, a birthday he
apparently shares with J-Lo's twins and Anthony Sabado Jr. Happy Birthday,
Zac!!!
Having your birthday every four years, does that mean you're 4 x older than you really are? Would you live only 1/4 of your lifespan? And most
importantly, do you receive a birthday cake 4 x larger than normal?

Ya know, I'm confused about Leap Day. I was watching 30 Rock and they did a funny Leap Day show ("nothing that happens on Leap Day matters or
counts") and all wore clothing that was yellow and blue. I've never associated Leap Day with any traditions or behaviors. I did wear a yellow and
blue shirt today just in case though.

Also known as Sadie Hawkin's Day. Parodied endlessly by Al Capp in Lil' Abner.bajadock - 2-29-2012 at 05:31 PM
Clipped from Hilton La Jolla Torrey Pines today... Leap Year Tradition: Feb. 29 is traditionally a day where women are “permitted” to romantically pursue men. The tradition dates back to 5th
century Ireland when St. Bridget lamented to St. Patrick about the "fair sex having to wait for men to propose." As a result, Patrick relented and
declared that Feb. 29 is the day that would be set aside when women can ask men for their hand in marriage. Ladies...today is the day!!!
