from another site - thought everyone should know:
Flying From La Paz to Sacramento (or to Just About Anywhere in the US) - Volaris has recently added some new routes. If you can pick your dates based
on cost, take a $163 US 1-stop flight on Volaris from La Paz to Las Vegas thru Guadalajara (www.volaris.com.mx/en/), then take a $69 US nonstop flight on Southwest from Las Vegas to Sacramento (www.southwest.com). Total cost: about $232 US. Round trip tickets are at similar low prices. For many connections, this is better and cheaper than
taking Volaris to Tijuana, then crossing the border and taking a taxi to the San Diego airport, because you don't have to leave the airports or cross
the border on foot.
Footnote: Watch out for Volaris' "Gotcha!" on their cheapest tickets. You can only check a single 15Kg bag (33 Lbs). Any more than that and you'll pay
$10 US for each Kg over the limit. This cost me $80 US on my last trip, more than I would have paid had I purchased the more expensive ticket that
allowed 25 Kg (55 Lbs). Volaris and Southwest have recently begun partnering, so the route between La Paz to Sacramento, and other Western cities, may
get even easier in the near future.

La Paz to Guadalajara to Vegas to Sacramento!? Sounds like this would test my patience. Going up to lobby a special interest group? Think I'll
stick to my La Paz to LA on Alaska. Interesting that Volaris and Southwest are partnering. Tio
