Just looking over some stuff on my web site and thinking about M's medical issues, so I took another look at her great Baja Eclipse photos from 13
years ago...

is what we said, over and over and over, that day.
Thanks DK and M for stirring some of the best memories of a lifetime (and I gotta lotta memories.... trust me)
That was an absolute must for everyone withing reach, let alone Baja aficionados.
We drove 3600 miles in 6 days, and it was a lifetime experience!
Baja Arriba!!

De nada Dick.
I was at work in Vista, north of San Diego, during the eclipse. The sun was about 3/4 covered and it was darker and cooler for sure.
One of my irrigation customers was down there for the event and he came back so entranced he became a global eclipse chaser.
At noon, to hear roosters crowing, coyotes yelping and to see stars appear has to be quite special.
The Google ads pop up above this thread advertising a trip to the 2006 total eclipse... I am available!
