Wow, Ken, one of my favorite places. When my dad was a CDBP Ranger at MacKerricher Beach I was in 6th. grade in Fort Bragg. He took me out of the
sight of land in a 12' skiff out of Noyo on a flat day. He had a pocket compass in case of fog!
I have a LOT of detailed pictures of Monterey Clipper double-enders in an archive. (I used to be into building model boats) There were some classics
out of Noyo.

Ken,
One of my Mom's favorite places when she visited us in Sacramento, besides Monterey/Carmel/17 mile Dr., Yosemite, wine country, Tahoe, San Francisco,
Bodega Bay, Sequoias, redwoods, and I forgot some, no doubt. Anything north of LA is a delight.

I just recently got wind of MacKerricher Beach State Park and the "glass beach", next time through I'm staying and shooting that beach.
The beach back in the early fifties was used as a dump, it was eventually stopped, but what is left is tumbled glass and is quite a sight.
