We drove from El Pescadero to San Clemente. No serious problems along the way. We stopped in Bahia Coyote for a few days to visit friends. One nite we
saw the academy award winning best picture/actor film "The Artist" at Berthas for a donation. We were turned away at Rays for dinner, It was full and
we had no rez. If you want to go, it's thur, fri, sat only. his # is 615-1614316. We found a totally competent computer nerd at the "Gecko" restaurant
just south of the entrance to La Serinedad. His name is Hugo, he speaks good english, and he has some computer accessories there. Stopped in G. Negro
stayed and ate at Malarrimos. Dinner was adequate but not great. We took Blvd 2000 from Rosarito to the Otay mesa. It's a very nice 4 big lanes w/a
shoulder. I think it's a little longer to the border that the scenic Hwy, but it ends right at the border crossing and is as easy as it gets. The wait
was 2 hours at 10 am on a tuesday. Got to San Clemente and had a sunset happy hour on the pier. 1/2 priced drinks and a plate of baby back ribs and
slaw for $3. Life is good.
