Very curious as to why only men participated in this, but it is really cool, I think. Hope the link works.

That was awesome! It's the kind of act that restores a little faith in man-kind, for me anyway. Do you know when it took place?

I don't know-------it was just sent to me by a friend. I thought it really cool the way the "rescue" effort started slowly and just built and built til all were back at sea------you're right, a great statement about the people on the beach that day.

Sure would like to know why this happens (dolphins beaching themselves) tho--------anybody know???

Pilot Whales have beached themselves in a herd
several times, speculation is that they may be following
the herd leader. I've seen video of a not so pleasant
roundup/slaughter of Dolphins in a particular cove
in Japan, makes one sick

women in Brasil are meant to be beaurtiful ... and not DO anything except be beautiful. Notice the guys all hand their shirts keys whatever to the ladies....

women may have careers but the majority prefer a 9 - 5 job and punch out and go home to be moms, wives, girlfriends - and all with a maid.

audible big sigh from me right about now

why I ever got convinced to leave is beyond me. I had it soooo good

:lol::lol::lol:

well, all joking aside - this is how it used to be and I haven't been there for a couple of years to know if it has changed....I guess in the big cities, perhaps, in the smaller ones - no way.
