The news is full of reports that we have enough oil to power us at current levels for 200 years. There is no "green" energy that will get a jet into
the air or power at train or a ship....or a decent 4X4 pickup truck. We desperately need to replace the pandering poltroons in WASHDC who prevent the
use to that latent power. Our economy...and the world's economy...is powered by hydrocarbons...oil, gas and coal. There ain't no way around that
with any tech presently available or on the horizon except nuclear which those same "leaders" oppose.
I sit here in Baja with a very fine solar system. But the cost of that and its power shortcomings will make it non economic in the USA for a long
time....it's nice here but it won't power air conditioners and all the other hi amp stuff we demand up there at a price people will pay....unless
forced to pay by politicians and pressure groups.
The USA population has a serious case of ignorante and adolescent "wannas" and "dumbs" ginned up and based upon propaganda in the press and by the
"green" pressure groups who don't care about our economy or our liberty which is based on that economy....they, in fact, hope and press for the
collapse of both.
We need to wake up before we discover that our options includes only environments and tyrannies that we can't even imagine now.
