After a rainy but uneventful drive from San Diego/GN Monday we went out on Laguna Ojo de Liebre Tuesday morning. We were fortunate to have just one
other couple in the panga with us and a nice calm sunny morning. This is our 4th consecutive year on the lagoon and they have all been good but this
one was by far the best. There were more whales than I have seen in past years, they were everywhere we looked! We had two moms and two babies who
played with us for almost an hour, rubbing the boat and seeming to enjoy the petting and interaction. When our time was up and the panga started to
slowly pull away they actually followed us as if not wanting us to leave.
We are now in Mulege and plan to drive to San Isidro in the morning and go through the Guajademi/Mulege road. A report on that trip to follow.

Hi Kurt...you had a great day for WW at the lagoon indeed after all that knarly stuff that passed through. Those mom & calf pairs sound like the
same ones that enchanted us..pretty cool to have 2 pairs like that and they chased us as well when we left them...I look forward to seeing the pics
to confirm that....have a wonderful holiday amigos.
