RV Camping San Jose Del Cabo

geomike - 3-23-2012 at 09:11 AM

Folks, with the closure of Brisa Del Mar, are there any other RV camping options in San Jose Del Cabo or does one have to head down to Cabo San Lucas?

Thanks for any advise!

Mike

Dozens of RV parks between SJDC and La Paz. I advise you driving the route along the coast and decide for yourself (location, view and price).

Thanks Udo, I was looking for a place within stumbling distance of the finish line for this years NORRA Mexican 1000.

We finish up in San Jose Del Cabo this year and there is a good chance that I won't be driving ANYWHERE after the party!

That's a different need for an RV park, Mike.

Heck...short term...just find the nearest Walmart.

Wally world :light: good point!

Being north of La Linea (actually dos líneas) I forget how simple things really are!

I'm all caught up with reservations and other extraneous excrement. Enough.

I know of some RV parks: 1 in Pescadero, 1 in Todos, 1 maybe 2 in La Paz. In Cabo, got Vags and I think Glorieta.

Dozens? Drive the coast? I'm missing something. You won't find RV parks driving the coast -- if by RV park you mean hook-up, maybe a dump station, etc.

How about naming a dozen? Thought I knew the area.

The East Cape has quite a few, Lee. La Trinidad (Ribera), North Beach, Verdugos, etc. Google Oh Yeah, El Cardonal?!:tumble::O Tio

I get my information from books such as Church's Baja Camping, Moon's Baja Camping, Guia Roji, etc.
They show dozens of sites from SJDC to El Centenario. Alkl along the coast, some more inland. Plus there are some unlisted parks that offer palapa sites.

la trinadad/pass

I left my copies at home so I figured to throw the question out to Nomadlandia and see if there was any new intel.

I will attempt a trip report when we get back.

Thanks again all
