My favorite "Baja Dog" was the picture on some brand of
red matchbooks that we would comonly find in Ensenada, while drinking from bar to bar.
It sort of looked like the face of a german shepard.
We refered to it as a Baja Dog of War.
When I retire and start staying in Baja more I will want
a"Baja Dog of War" to have around the campsite.

Bajawarrior, Looks like a San Felipe daytime Grunion run, I have never seen one. San Felipe is my usual Baja destination. Some of the camp dogs can be immediately loyal, I realize it's not me as much as the food.
The San Felipe
Animal Rescue Gruop has over the yrs. has made a Noble effort in caring for strays

This grunion run was last spring but it occurred again last Sunday March 11th but didn't have the dogs and didn't take any photos. My neighbor and friend in Baja is very involved in the SFARG. It's a good effort for sure.
