Tell me if you like the new background at http://VivaBaja.com

I hope it is easier on your eyes, more user friendly, etc.

To see the old background (to compare), click on the second link ("About David K, Shell Island and Old Map") there.

Thank you Nomads!

New colors are much easier to read...but, I thought it was just my old eyes keeping me from reading it easily until now. Can you do the same with the pictures? Thanks!

Lindalou - 10-5-2004 at 04:23 PM

Much nicer on the eyes. Looks cool too!:spingrin::yes:

I just got off the phone with Martha Stewart and asked her to check out your new 'colors'....she says it's almost the same color as her new 'crib' in Virginia...Cool and inviting! :lol:

Gee, I can't think of a more Baja color... Lime in 'da beer, lime in 'da tequila, lime in 'da fish taco, lime in 'da carnitas, ... lime in 'da coconut and call me in the morning!
:lol::lol::lol:

Thanks synch for the comment, seriously! Blue is most closely 'Baja' because of the sky and sea. However, the light brown to gold color of the soil, or brilliant white of the quartz sand arroyos, or the grey of a whale or boojum tree or the green of a cardon or.... Maybe lime is okay?

Okay amigos, to make my site as user friendly as possible for you backcountry Baja explorers and just plain Baja nuts, let me know what you would like to see there. You can U2U or email me.

Other than my zillion trip photos and those from others, plus maps, satellite images, GPS waypoints... the handy thing is the LINKS to many of the really good web sites out there.

Links not on my site can usually be found on Dick's web site http://BajaLinks.com Do let me know of any good links to backcountry or historical sites.

Gracias!

I just added (with Doug's help) a link to Baja Talk Radio on my front page (home page), next to the link for the 1905 maps and the Nasa satellite image link (ARIA).

Also, the new Public Baja Photo Gallery from Tio Rocky (BajaEvents.com) is linked under my Links to Great Baja Web Sites, in the Baja Travel Sites section. http://vivabaja.com/davidslinks.html
