Can anyone recommend a good place or service provider to get things like acrylic nails done/repaired, hair colored, etc... I am spending more time in the area and don't want to have to run back up to San Diego just for lady maintenance but also don't want to end up with a reck... Thanks for any suggestions!

OK this is right up my alley...Lupita's right in the center of town...they do the absolute best Pedicures I have ever had in my life...they get those callouses off your feet with a razor and painless and fast. I brought a whole group of nurses down from the US and we all had our feet done (since using a razor in the US is illegal). I had a friend that had purple highlights in their hair done there...they seem to have alot of business clientele...

I Second the Reccomendation for Lupita's in Rosarito

They have been around for over twelve years (that I know of). The shop is modern, recently remodeled and expanded, brightly lit and clean.

She has a good barber for the men and I have seen many vacationing couples come in for mani-pedis together.

Also, they do a brisk trade in Brazilians for the local ladies of the evening.

I haven't been to Lupita's, but have been to Extreme on Benito Juarez across from Susanna's. Have only had gel nails and pedicures, but pleased with both!
