Enter the store and go all the way to the back on the left side to the yarn and button area and ask for jewelry making materials. They have them -
along with everything else imaginable in the crafting and creating world.

Also, in the Baja Sur Yellow Pages telephone book:
Page 47 under (in English) Arts and Crafts Supplies:
There are 9 places for LaPaz, 1 for Constitucion and several for Loreto/Mulege and while all those might not specifically have jewelry making
supplies, they should be interesting and might point you in the right direction.
Also on the Malecon by Applebee's is a handicrafter's retail outlet and I am certain they could direct you to supply outlets.

On Jalisco a door or two up from Abasolo is a bead shop that occupies part of what used to be the original El Arco hardware store.
