any suggestions out there for finding a little place on the bay to rent for a few months beginning in May? former Naranjo resident and palapa
"owner/dweller" seeks peaceful place to focus on
photography and writing for a bit in the warmer months there..I have many references and am responsible, quiet, neat, etc.....animal lover

We rented a nice little house in the Orchard. You can negotiate with the gall there.

Uhhhh, along the river in the summer?
That reminds me...........what's going on over at Playa Arenas over by Naranjo these days?

If you appreciate AC, the bay will have limited places. You could probably find a place , with AC ,as a house sitter, near town.

Thanks for some ideas..Pompano's place is absolutely lovely! and way beyond my simple price range ... A C is great and as I have been on the bay in
July I know it gets too hot to do much in the summer there...still would like to find a place on the Bahia as it is more peaceful - will keep putting
it out there.

1Bajalover, Check with Manuel at Don Chano's on the north side of the river. Tell him Bobby said hello.

Tip:
A FANTASTIC FAN Endless Breeze model 12 Volt
A 50 watt or larger solar voltaic panel (many palapas have a lot more than this)
And a 100 amp hour or larger RV battery. Also tiny compared to most places
Will do wonders for your comfort. I speaketh from experience. The fan puts out an INCREDIBLE amount of quiet air for around a 2.0 amp draw. Three
speeds.
The fans are made entirely in the USA and are like a Trace Inverter. They do not break. They do not screw up.

I believe there may be a palapa available here in El Burro. It will take me a couple of days to get ahold of the owner and I'll let you know. The
place is very very basic but may fit your needs. Ron

my dog by that palapa every morning around 7am- hope to see you there. Ron
