Okay... I admit it... it's been a while since we drove through the town of Bahia de los Angeles. We like camping nearby, but often don't actually go
all the way into (or through) town.
Yesterday, we did drive through town, and I admit to seeing much more has been developed than the last time I'd done so. More pavement, more
businesses, more development of the camping and accommodations along the water to the north of town.
One of the decisions needed was where to grab a quick bite to eat, and frankly, I wasn't sure where to go - and most places looked to be, well, empty.
The weather had something to do with it. How do you decide then??? The only place that seemed to be busy was the Taqueria La Carreta, in between
Mercado Lizeth and Restaurant Las Hamacas. Both locals and tourists alike there yesterday. Considering they only have seating outside, and everyone
was still there (windy weather).... well, that seemed to be a strong vote of confidence, and so that's where we went. I've seen online where this
location has been called China's Tacos and Tacos Lizeth as well.
We enjoyed the tacos de pescado and tacos de carne asada. Definitely "hit the spot". We were all very satisfied to have stopped here on our brief
time in town yesterday.

the taco stand, too!
unless of course, a big swell decides to grace the other side, then i'll be on the opposite side.....
