Catavina Cop Trap

Russ - 10-6-2004 at 10:40 AM

Everyone please take care in the Catavina area. There is a cop in a white Explorer with a light bar and he is pulling over a lot of folks for almost anything he can get you for. Speed got three friends. One got charged $20 bucks to tie a red piece of material on the prop that the cop just happened to have under his seat. I thought only the fed. cops could write tickets on the hwy. Wrong again.

I am almost sure hes not even a cop, any local cop would know that he can't write tickets on that highway.

You got robbed.

"any local cop would know that he can't write tickets on that highway."

I didn't know that. It sure could be nice to know that in case they tried that one on me. Thank you.

Thats a federal highway, and the only ones that can ticket you there are federal cops, who are very well identified by their black and whites, any guy sitting in an explorer collecting 20 bucks a pop is NO federal cop.

Now that's funny !:lol::lol: I think I'll get a light bar for my bamboo rack and pick up a few extra bucks along the highway. hahahahaha.
If it happens to anyone in the future, get his name and "badge number" yuk yuk, and say you want to see the judge to pay any fines. It's the law.
Did he happen to ask if you wanted to buy some chewing gum as well?
That's rich !!:lol::lol:
