We were camped on the Concepcion peninsula yesterday.
Registered 122 at 4 in the afternoon and was 68 when we got up this morning - about 10 KM up the bay from the foot.

Back home in Lopez now. 64 outside! We will be here this summer and San Nicolas December - April !

..love that area,,not those temperatures-now I know why it's winter only for me.

Not many people go to San Nicolas because of the road. It's brutal!

Our place is up the arroyo with 100 citrus trees, etc. and no one bothers stuff there.

We go out a couple times a month to check on things and change the water valves.

No problems there! Next winter check in with us.

......I'm usually sooo glad to get away from 'civilization',,that I don't do so much visiting,,but god willing I'll have a longer stay next winter and be happy to visit:)

Mula - 5-23-2012 at 05:45 PM

photos later . . . only a few. A photographer I am not.

Does anyone know who owns the peninsula. Did not see one Ejido sign. Several for Arroyo Luis / Tres Marias Private Property signs.

Any info on "Corona Bill" or who ever he was. Know a little about Baja Patty, but would surely like to know more.

El Salto is damn near dry as is Patty's spring.
