On the Bufadora Road, about a third of the way out from Maneadero, we now have a convenient gas station. They've been building it for years now what
with the three year lunch break they took, and I guess they feel things are looking better out here, so they finally opened it up for business.
It's complete with an OXXO convenience store which has been open for the last few years.
Just occured to me that I don't know whether or not they have diesel, but I think they do for all the farm equipment out here.
I'll letcha know.Ken Cooke - 5-24-2012 at 12:13 PM

No...but you're headed in the right direction....toward Maneadero, from La Bufadora. Adelante for another couple of miles.
That picture was taken near La Joya beach camp.....and it had to be a little while back. I think some drunk took out that sign a while ago.sancho - 5-24-2012 at 03:02 PM
OXXO, in San Felipe they seem to have sprouted
up overnite, 1 every 6 blks. You guys out on
the PB Peninsula ever get any Ploice station
of sorts? As I remember getting any Police response
was a bit of a problem, not that it is different

Well...we have one, complete with a few cells, but they quit manning it a half dozen years back. Probably something that was arrainged by those who
would feel constrained in their career choice by a police presence.
Until recently, we would see more military on the road than we see now. We can only guess why. Maybe it's a bad image to present to tourists. Gotta
keep them tourists comfy, ya know.
