According to Tiburon Ballena BDLA's facebook, the whale sharks have arrived in Bahia de Los Angeles too! I think this is going to be a good season.

Thanks Bob & Susan, these are beautiful animals. I'll never forget being with my mother-in-law "mom" in Los Barriles and seeing a whale shark "so

Whomever claimed "fish are stupid" has never encountered a whale shark. They become curious especially about humans in the water. IMHO the Mexican
government should recognize this and make sanctuaries, and a new blossoming formal "Whale Shark" tourist industry appear.bajachris - 5-30-2012 at 09:30 PM

Swam with the whale sharks in BOLA in May of 2011.

Bajachris, check out the fb page. The whale sharks are showing up now and usually stick around till Nov.

The whale shark/eco tourism business is in effect in Bahia de Los Angeles. This is the flag that the pangas are supposed to fly showing that they have
their paperwork in order to take out tourists.
