Hola Amigos,
I have a friend that needs a bus ride from Vizcaino to SJD late in the morning of June 19.
Can anybody tell me the name of the bus, the time it arrives, the location to catch it and the cost? Do you have to buy the ticket at an office or
from the bus driver?
Thanks, Curt
Ps: only 8 days and a wake up and I'll be headin south!

aguila or ABC are the 2 companies
the ticket can be bought right at the bus stop/office in Vizcaino, which is almost exactly opposite the very first PEMEX gas station if you are
coming into vizcaino from north going south.
not sure of the times, can you give me an approximate time and I will try to find out ??

All the links to ABC are down, and I don't recall seeing any ABC buses on the road lately, but maybe that's just me.
I sure do see the Aguila buses bearing down on me from the rear and hogging the road coming at me, though.

I just called the Vizcaino bus terminal and they say there are 2 direct buses a day to San Jose del Cabo...one leaves at 6:00 am and the other is at
17:35 and the fare is 1,260 pesos. It is a 14 hour bus ride..ouch!
There are lots more buses that leave early in the morning and in the late afternoon that go to La Paz from where you can transfer to a bus to SJC.
ABC schedule

Vizcaino south: leave at 2:01pm, 6:10 pm and 7:56 pm.
Arrive San Jose del Cabo at 20:13 and 21:49.
call 01 800 025 0222
Who knows? I got this at the station in El Rosario; it was what they were using.

I have found that it is important to call the actual terminal you leave from for the latest up to date schedule...the agent said these two were the
only direct buses...I guess that's why it's good to be at the terminal awhile before the bus is SUPPOSED to leave!

Great information. Thanks for your help. He's a mellow guy that loves the Baja speed of life. If he has to wait, he waits.
Cheers, Curt
