Guerro Negro, new RV park ?

henshaw - 6-28-2012 at 06:54 PM

On the way out of Baja in April we noticed a new RV park just a couple of miles north of Guerro Negro but we didn't stop to check it out. Anyone have any info on the park? Would like to hear from someone who has stayed there.

god,please let it have HOT water..thank you lord.....amen !!

Captkw, I have used a giant immersion heater (you can find them in a ferreteria), a solar shower bag and a new 99 cent plastic automatic transmission funnel to fill the bag. After you fill the bag with warm water, hang it on the unused shower head and proceed to splurge. It sure beats running around gathering up coconut shells to fire up a wood-fired boiler I'll tell ya. I used to travel with a new Home Depot 5 gallon plastic bucket and rig the immersion coil to hang off the bucket bale down into the water.

Just a freindly reminder... GUERRERO NEGRO ;D

DavidE - 6-29-2012 at 10:18 AM

Is there an unfriendly reminder? Just kidding!

Quizas, using something like, "I agree Guerrero Negro, can use a nice RV park right off the highway" would get the point across.

"Waiter! Your fly is in my soup!"

Wasn't there Benito Juarez, right at the BCS/BCN border?

As always, many words and no information. How refreshing it is to see the brilliance displayed be all you bored old gentleman.

My spelling may not be spot on but you guys are off way target. Thanks for reminding me why I seldom use the Nomads web site.

You know, henshaw, I WAS going to check this out this coming Tuesday replete to the point of talking to the management of the park, taking lots of images and posting them.

BUT!

Since your original post happened on the 28th and...

"As always, many words and no information. How refreshing it is to see the brilliance displayed be all you bored old gentleman"...

Occurred just one day later, you are in one heck of a rush. My effort would come too late. You just saved me time, gasoline, and camera batteries.

You get what you pay for, and sometimes more... here on Nomad... It is a discussion forum. I do try to provide answers if I know or believe another's post I have read. It has only been about 24 hours since you asked, and on forums you may need to give members more time to see your post. I didn't read it until just now, myself... So please chill and wait for more responses.
The town is Guerrero Negro, and the trailer park 2 miles north is at the Eagle Monument/ State Border (Paralelo 28)... It has been there since 1974, and like other government built trailer parks along Highway One, the condition may not be the same for you as it was last time one of us Nomads stayed there. The Malarrimo Motel (in Guerrero Negro on the entrance road) has an RV Park, I do believe... See the web site: http://www.malarrimo.com

Loretana, great catch!!

I must have a sick sense of humor, I actually laughed out loud when saw your observation.

David, watcha got to say now??

David K - 6-30-2012 at 08:41 AM

I say that is an English word (I have never corrected anybodies English here, as I am no pro at spelling), and that was a typo.. in either case it has nothing to do with my helping teach how to spell BAJA places correctly out of respect for the local or for history.

Now, how about the content of my reply to henshaw?

Howard - 6-30-2012 at 02:07 PM

David, I honour your opinion and correction on the English spelling.
