Colombian independence day (7/21)in Rosarito Beach

For the second time will be celebrating Colombian independence in Rosarito Beach, on 21 July.



About 15 Colombian families reside in Rosarito Beach about for over 15 years, and is so will take place the Festival "Rumba in Rosarito Celebrating our Independence" in Rosarito Beach in Rincon Colombiano Restaurant, where attendees can sample the cuisine variety such as Colombian Arepas, a variety of snacks and drinks. Clara Ines Zambrano from Colombia, which for almost 5 years living in Rosarito Beach, said she is proud to celebrate independence in this town that like Mexico is a joy to celebrate the freedom and independence.

Clara Inés makes an invitation extended to the whole community. Admission is free, and prices are reasonable for all age groups, it is expected an influx of 200 people.

Looks like a fun place, but be careful- those bandeja Paisas can be gut-busters! Colombia is a fun country, everyone should check it out.

Hi Jan - As an appetizer, I would immediately suggest asking for 2 Chicken Arepas - You will probably finish these within 5 minutes. After eating these, scan the menu and I am sure something mysterious will catch your eye. When I traveled to Colombia, I typically ate non-Colombian food. For instance, in Barranquilla, there is a large Lebanese population. I ate at Farrah's or Restaurante Beiruh with Leidys (while we were still dating). Just ask Clara and she can make some good recommendations for you. But, don't forget to order the Chicken Arepas - Clara's are OUTSTANDING!

So, what time does this celebration get started Ken? What time are you expecting to be there also, as I will come up to see you and part-take in something new in eating FUN,LOL. We will go next time, Gary. Clara might remember Leidys - they're friends on Facebook. Probably the only Costeña to visit her restaurant from Barranquilla. We will definitely go next time.
