He lived to a ripe 95, and gave four hundred years worth of his best to Screen and Television.

Andy Griffith passed away a few days ago as well. My favorite film: "Onionhead".

Who didn't like this guy? If you haven't seen the film Marty try to find a copy and treat yourself to a great flick.

Best Ernie Line I've heard
MrBillM - 7-9-2012 at 08:39 AM
During an interview, he was asked about the time period when John Wayne OWNED Hollywood. Ernie said that when the
Duke said "Jump" everyone wanted to know "how high".
BUT, that wasn't the line.
Relating a time when they were together at a Hollywood party and BOTH feeling loose, Wayne asked Borgnine WHY they'd never made a movie
together.
Ernie, feeling well-lubricated, said "that's because YOU'RE afraid to work with GOOD actors".
Which brought forth a great laughing fit.

"I don't know what you're up to McHale, but I don't like it. Your men don't like me. They don't show the proper respect. They, they laugh behind my
back McHale and I'm going to get you for that!"
