I try to keep in mind that it is an animal's rather toxic pre-digestive enzyme. It's job is to break down protein of which blood is a member of.

Venom, as a digestive enzyme, is supposed to start digesting you if you get bit. Chemically, it breaks apart and breaks down the protein molecule and 'denatures' it. When you cook an egg, the heat does the same thing to the protein of egg white, that is, it blows the egg white protein molecule apart and breaks it down. The evidence of this is that the clear raw 'runny' egg white turns white and solid, just like the blood in the video.

Personally, I hate snakes.
