Hola, I was in this mex BBQ place this afternoon when the late shift counter girl came in and over heard from outside one of the cooks mentioning to the other cook about the guy stareing at her and he said "choapa" or something close to that and I have heard it somewhere in my travels...any nomads have loose translation ???? THanks..K&T :cool:

Not 100% sure....


But maybe it was Chupa (from Chupar) which is slang for 'sucks' or 'drunkeness'

If he was staring at her, maybe they commented that he was drunk.

Good Tip with the translater site !! it seem derogatory and sounded like "chuuupaaa" or cho-paa
