Replacement screen kits are about $40 last time I looked and depending on model. It can be done DIY if you are good with your hands. Getting the kit
to Mexico is a different problem. 
search amazon. eBay or ifixit.com

I am good with my hands and had it just about finished and wound up cracking the screen (inside). Leave it to someone who has done it repeatedly with
success. IMHO, worth the extra cost!
