Strange neighbors

bigmike58 - 7-26-2012 at 11:00 PM

We bought a couple of trail cams to see what might be cruising around our California house. My wife isn't so fond of the rabbits since they are eating her garden. We did have one surprise visitor that hopefully someone can identify..We are pretty sure it's a bobcat. As you can see both cameras have a time/date/temp and moon stamp. The temp gets a little flakey when in direct 100degree+ sunlight. Both cameras use a infrared flash and both were around 130bux ea. I would say the Bushnell works better than the Tasco. Both cams do pics or video.

Those cameras are too cool. I also believe that to be a bobcat. And a fat happy one too with all those rabbits only steps away.

Cool pics, the rabbit picture reminds me of an old picture game they use to have. Try and find something in the pictures or how many things are different from one pic to another.
So saying that Bigmike58, you say there are at least 9 rabbits in this picture, I can only see 7. Still looking for those other two:bounce:

Good eye Russ, we were so exicited at seeing the bobcat that I did'nt even notice the rabbits were still on the lawn..

puckdrop, I will post the pic with stars over all the rabbits later today. hint, the eyes .

That's a VERY nice house you have as seen in first pic. How close are you to Hemet?

That's my neighbors house, mine is much smaller;D We are about 5 miles west of Hemet. On top of the rocky mountain between Hemet and Nuevo. Sky Mesa/McClain ranch if you know the area.

your photos are great bigmike! i'm going to get a camera like that, i have lots of wildlife to catch.

i walked up on this mommy cat and her rabbit a while ago and didn't see her youngster off to the side watching me. took lots of photos of the whole gang, about 6 cats.
