Tire question for David K

David K - How many miles did you get with your set of Cooper Mud-Terrain tires? :?:

I got 40,000-45,000 miles on the Cooper Discoverer STTs. That was the most miles of any brand I have had on my 3 Tacomas. However, I would never again own them.

The Good: They looked great and had real off road appearance, they lasted long time, they were awesome in mud and good on rocks.

The bad: They were noisy as hell on the highway, they were terrible in sand (where I do most of my 4 wheeling) and we renamed them 'grave diggers', they were pricey at $185 back in 2006.

The tread design which extends into the sidewall looks optimal for the type of sand driving that you do - just when aired down appropriately.

If you were still running these tires, I would suggest 10 p.s.i. front/rear. Your pickup is not a heavy beast, and I would think they would do much better? No se...
