very good news. Too bad CBP has totally screwed south bound traffic with their money search checkpoint. San Ysidro is still the best option going

CBP does random x-ray screening of southbound vehicles. In 7 years, we have only been screened once, no big deal, about 15 minutes.
They also narrow down southbound to one lane sometimes and ask about 3 questions..........no problems
Otay is still a great way to enter/exit, using Corridor 2000......but, hey....use San Ysidro all you want
