I'm back in Canada now after spending a little over 5 months in Baja California. I had a great time and traveled to many little corners and nooks.
That being said I don't think I even scratched the surface of the wonders that Baja has to offer. I came back with almost 500 GBs of video footage and
photos and will now spend the next few months piecing together a DVD of my travels. At some point within the next year I will return to Mexico, via
Baja California, and take the ferry over to Los Mochis to begin exploring and shooting a second DVD on the Pacific Coast. At that point I will explore
some of the areas I missed on this trip and hopefully will be able to offer up some more footage of this stunning landscape and hospitable people.
A special thanks to everyone I met along the way who helped me out, gave me a place to stay, pointed me up an arroyo or just had a cold one with me.
As well to the incredibly helpful people on this forum. If it wasn't for all of you my trip would not have been as successful as it was.
This short video is for all of you and is just some of my favorite sights and places that I visited in Baja California. For the full, HD, version you
can follow the link to youtube and watch it in 1080.
Cheers.
Scott
A Quick Note: None of this footage was shot at, or near, a resort. Mexico is so much better when you actually visit Mexico.
DAMN GOOD !!

Hey all. Thanks for the kind words but at the end of the day it's not me....Baja pretty much shoots itself. There are times when you can't get a bad
shot. To answer some questions:
woody with a view: Yes, I am hooked. Always have been. I love the diversity of Mexico but most of all I love the people there. No, not you crazy
ex-pats, you're all nuts.
Rainer and Bob H: There are more videos at my website listed below as well as photographs. I'll be compiling notes and writing some articles now that
I'm back and settled.
willyAirstream: No pre-orders but I think I will try to organize a pay per view type of deal where you can watch it online. I haven't looked into the
logistics but it only makes sense.bacquito - 8-5-2012 at 04:48 PM

Thanks. Well, once the engine was replaced the bus handled great. Good off road vehicle as well as for the long smooth rides. I can't think of any
other vehicle I would want to take on a drive like this. Be nice if it was better on gas but that's what you get when you're driving something as
aerodynamic as a tipped over fridge. Still, it's comfortable and more importantly for me, approachable. People love the bus and don't mind coming over
to say hi.PanchoVanilla - 11-13-2012 at 04:27 PM
Well done and safe travels. thanks for all that you have brought to Mexico; may you always hold close to the memories.David K - 11-13-2012 at 06:35 PM

Hi Judy,
I look forward to heading back your way as well and perhaps spending a little more time. You have an amazing shop and a pocket laden with pesos would
quickly become depleted in there I'm sure.
The pelican shot is from San Ignacio. Really good eye. That's a nice little area that I didn't spend much more than an afternoon in. Next year I'll
spend more time there and get more footage on the area.bacquito - 11-14-2012 at 04:55 PM
