Woody, How about putting the word "hurricane" on the title... The cute titles like "a little way off" or "my friend Fabio" are a little vague. I for
one would really appreciate it since I don't get any TV in Mulege and live in a fricking flood zone and really don't wanna read a post about any dude
named Fabio!!LOL..thx brobigmike58 - 8-8-2012 at 09:05 PM
thanks dude!!

I figured something is brewing and getting ready to travel North. Although gentle and on the edge of the storm, the rain has been steady here in the
mountains of VeraCruz since 5 a.m.MMc - 8-9-2012 at 07:37 PM
Hurricanes have crossed over and been renamed in the Pacific. Last one was about 5 or 7 years ago. They need to cross pretty far south so they don't
lose all their energy. I don't recall them joining up with one already going.woody with a view - 8-10-2012 at 09:55 AM
looks like a non event, or a small chance.

Not so sure about that Woody....this thing is close to regenerating and it will probably follow in the path of Gilma meaning he/she will pass directly
below the tip from East to West as it strengthens, so........still could be a special event if you know where to go. I know its early but....BFS - 8-10-2012 at 11:59 AM
...now if it turns north even for a day before passing too far west, well then... its time to dust off the 8'0!woody with a view - 8-10-2012 at 12:01 PM
fingers crossed!woody with a view - 8-10-2012 at 12:53 PM

Hey quit bashing on Hector, he still might give us some love tomorrow late.cabobaja - 8-13-2012 at 02:20 PM
BFS, Hector did give us some love today. Wind! I don't know....maybe 15-20
mph through the day here in Elias Calles. Took the humidity away. But now,
a little wind and humidity is back. 95E....if continues the direction projected is to hit Cabo or a little east or west. Too soon to tell. But we need
rain!!!shari - 8-13-2012 at 09:32 PM
Hector gave us our first REAL day of summer....gorgeous 85 degrees and no wind...and the water got warmer today too...we had a little birthday fiesta
for Nancy and didnt even have to put a sweater on in the evening!!! Bring it on Hector..looks like the next few days will be more of the same....I
love it when those storms suck the wind out of here.Marinero - 8-14-2012 at 05:35 PM
MMMmmm, tryng to figure Mexican weather is as risky as trying to figure most everything else down here. Still, it's what we do........woody with a view - 8-14-2012 at 09:52 PM

its been HOT AS HELL in SD the past week. don't know that Hector had anything to do with it, but 500 miles might make a difference....Mulegena - 8-15-2012 at 05:27 AM
Mulege got WET tonight.
Big Time.
We jumped up and ran around outside putting stuff undercover while the dogs and cats ran inside to get out of the storm-- our big black dog is afraid
of thunder and barks at the lightning, the miedoso!
6:30 a.m. and the storm seems to have passed.
House windows are open again.
Today should be hellahumid and muddy all over town.
In a couple weeks it'll be a greened-up desert, maybe even flowers.Bob and Susan - 8-15-2012 at 05:32 AM
just a couple of drops here on the bay...
there is a cool breeze from the north
outside temp is around 78f

Lopez Mateos had a nice little rain last evening for about 30 or so minutes with the inevitable power outage, but only for a short time. Down to 79
here this morning, and 78% humidity.shari - 8-15-2012 at 09:26 AM
the gals & Izaak had our first real swim yesterday....the water is finally warm enough to stay in and swim around! so thanks Hector....
