Ordered a different scrambled egg breakfast at Mison Isabel in San Quintin a few days ago and in the description of the dish was "baņado en la salsa".
I thought 'baņado' was something in the salsa but could not get anyone to tell me what a baņado was. I ordered it and the dish was very good.
Later, I figured out that this means the item, in this case little chunks for beef was swimming or bathed in the sauce. Do I have this right? Osprey - 8-14-2012 at 07:44 AM

Are you referring to the fact, Jorge, that this food looks as though it's already been eaten?
