Posada Don Diego's Sunday Buffet (all you can eat)

larryC - 8-14-2012 at 10:42 AM

I have stayed at PDD's many times over the years but it just never hapened to be on a Sunday. This last Sunday my luck changed for the better and I was able to try their Sunday Buffet. Wow was I impressed. There must have been 8 stainless trays of food, Pork ribs, Pork mole, BBQ pork, Fried fish, chicken, etc etc. Several soups, I had the Pozole. A good salad bar, Breads and drinks such as Jamaica, and orange juice. Then desert was a really good rice pudding. If you happen to be there on Saturday night and leave Sunday morn after 8 am then be sure to try the omlete station at the buffet. If you want more just get up and get it 'cause it is all you can eat. Irene and Jose have really raised the bar. Buffet hours are Sundays 8am till 3pm.
Larry
PS as I remember it was $120p.

My favorite dinner at Don Diego's is one of their omelets, and you say they have an omelet station at the buffet...

We're usually out of there before 8am but might delay the travel schedule for that event . Thanks LarryC.

For dummies like me, where is this place located?

Colonia Vicente Guerrero (between Camalu and San Quintin)... turn west by the propane plant at the top of the hill, south side of town... go about a mile west on easy dirt road.

Those all you can eat 'ums are bad for your health. Unless you're a light eater, then what's the point?
