A Very Tragic Report About a Rosarito Family Killed in a Traffic Accident

Gypsy Jan - 8-24-2012 at 06:18 PM

I did not know them, but I feel that I must pass this news along:

"Jessie Licea and his entire family were killed on August 6 on the way to a religious convention in Guadalajara.

His van was totaled and caught on fire near Sonora.

His business is the body shop and custom repair shop on the main highway across from La Maya.

Killed were Jessie, his wife, their six children ranging in ages from 1 to 14, Jessie's mother, Jessie's three brothers, and two sisters.

Also killed was one of the body shop workers who went on the trip with them. I don't know his name.

Jessie moved here several years ago from Chula Vista and was making a name for himself by providing outstanding auto body work - American work and ethic at Mexican prices.

Jessie was also my friend and my son's friend."
