Does anyone have a negative experience with a Tijuana or Tecate dentist? Trying to decide which dentist to use.
Thanks,
Ted

Who wants to put out a negative experience before a positive experience?

I had a root canal and crown done by Tijuana dentists back in 2005/6. While the bill is lower, the repeated trips to get all the work done (distance,
border wait) washed out any savings. One trip was a waste as the lab sent the wrong crown.
Perhaps if you go often to Tijuana anyway, or can request to get the entire job done in one visit, then fine. They do have the same, modern equipment
as U.S. dentists do...

I've been seeing Dr. Bogarin on Revolucion for a number of years..my cousins, sister, aunt & uncle too. The only negative has nothing to do with
his quality of work. This goes for every doctor I've seen...They don't adhere to appointment times. Bring a book.

There are some excellent dentists in Ensenada I can recommend.

A negative in my mind is that my dentist bills my American insurance at the start of the calendar year for a long list of things that he has not
performed. The ins co. Then pays the maximum for my coverage for the year. The Dr. Tells me he will do everything I need during the year at no
charge to me. So the Dr. Is getting about a grand for each year and I typically only need 2 cleanings. I don't think I agree with the way he bills
and might change Dr's because of it. The jury is still out.
My previous TJ dentist worked for whatever my ins. Pays for that procedure and I didn't give any co pay.
