For others, it is 5 miles south of the Puertecitos turnoff... ~Km. 83
Oh, and NO H in 'Cristina'

'Cristina, daughter the the late owner....... operates that camp with her hubby....they are a young couple. Usually they stay in San Felipe....but one
can find them there at the camp collecting camp fees.
A decent camp spot with bathrooms and shower. It's a good spot for fishing from the shore. The restaurant is not open to the public anymore...but you
may beg for someone to make some fixings for you.

Not to be confused with 'Campo Cristina', north of Puertecitos close to Punta San Fermin.scouse - 9-16-2012 at 09:59 AM

The restaurant was open untill it got hot. Everyone in the area vacates during the summer and should start returning soon. Then the restaurant
will be open Friday thru Sanday.mcfez - 9-16-2012 at 12:28 PM

It doesn't show it to good, but in the first "sunrise" picture there is a missle contrail, down low to the left. Found out later it was set off at
Los Alamos, New Mexico.

Oh yah, I see it in the lower left corner... now that's interesting! I have only seen them out over the Pacific when they launch at Vandenberg.
I zoomed in on the area of Wayno's picture we are talking about...
