Hey, the neighbor said, this guy will pump out your septic tank, real cheap.
Well, real cheap showed up at about 6 pm today, backed up on our lawn and started pumping.
His pump failed 1/4 of the way through and when he tried to pull his truck out, he could not get traction, the wheels just ripped up and through the
lawn.
Real cheap is still trying to pull his truck out, his brother showed up with a tow truck an hour ago.
End result. Two trucks stuck and more lawn torn up and they are still grinding away.
Help, could someone gift me a vacation to Hawaii or maybe, a gardener with with magic restorative abilities?David K - 10-23-2004 at 12:43 AM
I install new grass, either patch up the damage or (so it all matches)... shall we replace the entire lawn?... Did they break any sprinklers,
too???
'Real cheap' will pay for the damage and then raise his prices, I bet!

That you could have much worse damage to your lawn than tire tracks. But then you'd have had a burst of green come spring.surfer jim - 10-23-2004 at 07:53 AM
Timely post as I had my tank pumped yesterday (I think).....will be going soon to see results....now back to BAJA.....Gypsy Jan - 10-23-2004 at 08:15 AM
The sniff test...
Well, the sun is up, chilly but warming. Took a look at the battleground from last night. Gouges in the lawn, some are three feet plus deep. Mud
and tire tracks all over the place.
But, at least, upon taking a deep sniff of the morning air, it is clean and clear Dave - 10-23-2004 at 05:22 PM

Take advice from EJ?
Or, even refer to him as a neighbor?
No, I don't think so.
I have heard many stories about him and his antics and proclivities---I take all of such gossip with a grain of salt, but, when he confronted us as we
were eating a quiet family meal in a restaurant and threatened my husband with a law suit and bodily harm about an issue that was totally unrelated to
us, I took him off my list of "heard about, but not proven" and put him on my list of "avoid at all cost".
