Beach city of California

Hello there....

I would like to share with you something about the greatest beach city of Mexico. Enjoy your trip to California in most amazing beach city San Felipe. In order to reach San Felipe, you will have to fly San Diego from where you can hire taxi or use public bus to reach there. There are pangas also available to reach San Felipe through waterways. This is the most amazing and interesting option to reach San Felipe. The Sea of Cortez (so-called Gulf of Mexico in USA) is the reason why most tourists from across the world gather there. Is anyone there who can let me know about beachfront restaurants and famous seafood of San Felipe?

Not Gulf of Mexico, but Gulf of California (the official name).

The distance from San Diego to San Felipe is nearly 300 miles (5 hours drive), so a taxi is not a realistic option. As for restaurants, and other services in San Felipe... I suggest the 'official' San Felipe website: http://www.sanfelipe.com.mx

The Culinary festival is in San Felipe October 13!

www.blueroadrunner.com is a great site operated by Randy. It has info that you seek.

If you are talking about flying out of San Diego TO San Felipe.......then catching a cab from the San Felipe Airport........that's not going to happen if you are thinking Delta or whatever. It is NOT an airport that supports large commercial aircraft. Hiring out small craft from SD to SF is WAY too expensive.

One can arrive at San Diego International Airport, then rent a car to get to San Felipe. The insurance is sky high BTW.

You may look into going from San Diego International Airport to the Greyhound Bus which is very close to SD airport....take it to El Centro.....cab then walk across the International line...to the ABC Bus line (which is far superior that Greyhound!)......arriving in SF

The seafood restaurants on the beach front do not offer fancy interiors where black ties are required....much less the Sunday dress ....rather casual attire.........you can even wear those Hawaiian shirts that DavidK made famous. The food......very good!

Would rather take an amazing trip by Panga through the waterways from the so-called Gulf of Mexico........so I can be with tourists from across the world just hanging and chilling in San Felipe....
